You can get the best of both worlds by going with a Hybrid Speed Density setup. With the iWire Hybrid MAF setup it makes this simple. Just plug in the iWire harness to the original Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) connector and the other end to the MAF sensor then install the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) into the intake manifold and tune.
Our harness is built to last with Military Spec (Milspec) grade materials like flame retardant, corrosion, and abrasion resistant Tefzel wire. We've also wrapped it in Raychem DR-25 heat shrink tube that can withstand the harsh environment of the engine bay. The Intake Air Temerature (IAT) sensor plug is booted and the MAF sensor connector is potted to ensure a true weatherproof seal and secure wire connections.
Optional AEM Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor adapter for upgrading when the stock MAP reaches its limit. Built to the same specifications as the MAF harness for a high quality connection that will resist the high temperature engine bay location on the intake manifold.
Select "Standard Connector" for most IAT sensors including standard GM, IAG IAT sensor as well as AEM part number 30-2010.
Select "Alternate Deutsch Connector" for the 1/8" NPT Thread Air Temperature Sensor found on AEM part number 30-2014.
Adapter Length - 36 Inches: This is our standard length and works with most applications.
Adapter Length - 48 Inches: Works for applications with a Front Mount Intercooler or any setup that the IAT sensor is not on or near the manifold and/or throttle body.
Note: Works with standard GM IAT and AEM MAP, sensors not included
