Bypass Jumper for Fuel Pump Hardwire Kit

What is a Bypass Stud Kit Jumper?
The Bypass Stud Kit Jumper is a way to route power and ground directly to the fuel pump without using the stock connections. We recommend this for all car models and years that are utilizing a 450 LPH or higher pump.
Why do I need a Bypass Stud Kit Jumper?
The problem with the OEM connector is that the terminals can't handle the amperage that the larger pumps create. Each terminal and connector has a rating for the amount of current it's designed to handle. When that amperage is exceeded, it generates heat which can lead to the connector and housing burning up and melting. Beyond the car not starting because there is no longer power to the pump, the problem can't be fixed easily because the connector is built into the fuel tank assembly. Our kit eliminates the need to replace the entire assembly.
How does the iWire Bypass Jumper Work?
The bypass stud kit jumper takes the power and ground out of the stock fuel tank hanger connector and runs it through metal studs on the top of the assembly and goes straight into the connector of the new pump that is designed to handle the amperage it creates. This let's you have the best of both worlds for safety and more power to the pump while leaving the stock connector in place for fuel level and fuel temperature. It also saves money because if the stock connector is burnt up then the assembly does not have to be replaced, just modified for our kit.
